What lavender honey tastes like
Bees that forage on lavender make a honey with a gentle floral scent and a smooth, rounded sweetness. It is lighter on the tongue than dark honeys and pairs beautifully with warm milk, green tea or plain yoghurt.
How families use it
Many of our customers keep lavender honey for the evening: a spoonful on its own before bed, or stirred into a warm drink once it has cooled a little. Adding honey to boiling liquid dulls its aroma, so let the cup cool first.
Storage
Keep the jar closed at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, and always use a dry spoon. Raw honey never needs the fridge.
If it crystallises
All honey thickens or crystallises sooner or later, especially in winter. That is normal. Stand the jar in warm (not hot) water and stir to bring it back.
