What clover honey tastes like

Clover honey is the classic: light golden, mild and cleanly sweet, without strong floral or herbal notes. That makes it the most versatile jar on our shelf, from breakfast to baking.

Everyday ways to use it

Drizzle it over a warm paratha or toast, stir it into chai once it cools a little, sweeten yoghurt and fruit, or use it in place of sugar in homemade dressings. Children who find other honeys too strong usually take to clover straight away.

Storage

Keep the jar closed at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, and always use a dry spoon. Raw honey never needs the fridge.

If it crystallises

All honey thickens or crystallises sooner or later, especially in winter. That is normal. Stand the jar in warm (not hot) water and stir to bring it back.
